The media could not be loaded. OK, so I'm a 48 year old woman, who has recently taken up kayaking! I want transporting my kayak to be secure & safe, & I really don't like messing about with time consuming ropes, or cheap, temperamental rachet straps! I want loading & offloading my trailer to be as efficient as possible, & I want to be confident that what I am towing is as secure and as safe as is possible! My first trip out, I had 2 cheap rachets & 3 lengths of rope.. it took me nearly an hour of messing about trying to secure the trailer, tieing knots & trying to get the rachets to work, which totally took the fun out of the experience! So when I got home, I decided to research quality rachet straps, & my search brought me to these absolute gems & I "treated" myself to them! Wow, these rachets really are awesome! I can load the trailer and secure it with 2 straps within 5 minutes. The figure of 8 loops are a great addition, making attaching the straps to the trailer so much easier. The rachet themselves are a solid construction. The handle is comfortable to use, & the straps can be threaded through them with ease! No worries that these rachets will pop open etc. The length of the straps are great, & the quality of them and their stitching are extremely strong and durable! The hooks are metal, coated with thick rubber, & the clip adds an extra bit of security. The storage bag is a nice touch, & makes looking after the straps far easier (look after your equipment and it takes care of you)! The bright green colour, meant that I could easily see & check them whilst travelling, & both my husband & father went a similar shade of green with envy when they saw this rachet kit.. & it takes a lot to impress them! I am confident these rachets will firmly hold a heavier load, & would be ideal for securing motorbikes etc. As for the customer service..well, I encountered a young, opportunist thief on my first outing, & contacted Fortem customer service to enquire as to purchasing a replacement part, and they were so helpful. Their motto is "Fortem, The extra mile" & no word of a lie, that is exactly what they did! They did something I really didn't expect, & it really made my day, & even brought tears to my eyes! What a company, & what a product!! I cannot recommend these rachets enough! Their quality, teamed with excellent customer service are fantastic value for money! If you're looking to invest in some decent, high quality straps, then this kit will not dissappoint!!

The small loops make it easy to attach to motorcycle forks and headsets. Hooks with retainer clips prevent it from unhooking during a major bu.p in the road. Holds its tension well.

These bad boys are heavy heavy duty strapping probably over kill for strapping motorbikes down but I’ve used thinner and they’ve failed which doesn’t end well! Pay for what you get and these are top notch

Was replacing some old ratchet straps I'd had for years. Have put these to use already, tying down my kayak on roof-bars. Fantastic item and easy to use. Nice rubber grip on ratchet handle and release mechanism, making them very comfortable to use. Would most definitely recommend to anyone that is purchasing ratchet straps for the first time, or to anyone replacing worn out straps.

Great straps for the money. You may run into issues if you have a small trailer or strapping several motorcycles on one trailer. The soft ties and strap on the ratchet are pretty long so you may run out of room to ratchet it down tight. I had to figure out different routing of the straps. Won’t be an issues on large trailers.
