Why did you choose this product over others?: £22.99 at the time of this review, order arrived on time and well packed. Taking into account the price point, design, quality & quantity this to me is good value. Chunky ratchets, good quality strong straps, plus a storage soft bag. I didn't see any quality certification to approve the quoted breaking strength. From my perspective they are well made, strong, but without some certification I'd only use these for light loads. If these are certified and the suppliers advised then I'll adjust my review accordingly.

These ratchet tie-down straps are well-made. I have used this with a trailer and occasional motorbike transport, and overall, I’ve found them to be dependable and easy to handle. The S-hooks are well-designed, making it straightforward to anchor them to various mounting points like my truck bed or roof rack without too much fiddling. They’re coated in a way that seems to help with rust prevention, which is a bonus for anyone storing gear in outdoor conditions. The ratchet mechanism itself feels sturdy and engages smoothly, so tensioning the straps doesn’t feel like a struggle. The polyester is thick and doesn’t fray easily, which gives confidence when securing heavier loads. The break strength rating of 750kg is higher than I expected for something in this price range, and I’ve used them to strap down a kayak and some heavier storage bins during a long-distance move with no sign of stress or slippage. However, the straps are a bit stiff when new, which makes them slightly more awkward to loop and secure the first few times. They do soften a little with use, but it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry or working in colder weather when materials tend to be less flexible. Also, the S-hooks, while strong, could benefit from a bit of extra padding or a protective coating. This strap set came boxed with a handy carry bag. The straps themselves are well stitched with double stitching where necessary. The hooks are all generously plastic coated and have sprung retainers to keep them in place whilst slack until you tighten them up – so handy! The ratchets are well made with decent corrosion prevention and a great feature is that the handle and release catch are both rubber coated/sleeved. That’s such a nice feature as my older ones had no such sleeve and could really ‘bite’ when trying to release. The ratchet action is smooth and convincing. With a working load of 250KG each, these straps are great for moderate tying down of luggage atop your car or similar uses. Pros: Standar rachet mechanism used on all similar straps, works well, once you know correct threading route. Easy to get to a medium tightness, medium leverage Strap material seems good enough Hooks on end have closure wire and feel fairly robust Storage bag and additional webbing loops - for larger anchors than hooks fit Cons: Hooks could feel stronger/more heavy duty Needs more solid closure than just wire spring loop. strorage bag thats a tight fit Loops for wrapping larger anchor points not really that long. Price as Tested (Jun '25) £23 is overpriced for no brand straps you can get elsewhere for a bit less, so value not the best imo.

These are very handy to have on hand for a variety of solutions to your strapping needs. They are long enough to go side to side on an 8ft wide trailer and still strap down a smaller bunk of wood. The bonus functionality of these is they come with hooks for strapping to metal supports on the trailer, and soft loops for running around more delicate things like wheels, or handle bars on a motorcycle. They feel of pretty good quality, but only time will tell on that one, but so far are functioning quite well. For the thickness of these straps, and everything they come with, they are a pretty good deal!
