I use these to strap a 175L Strata box onto a Thule 973 bike rack, filled with camping-sleeping gear to free up space in the van. Did the job perfectly and the aforementioned box didn't move a mm over a couple of hundred miles. Good length but had to cut down to size, won't hesitate to buy again if and when required. Wouldn't however necessarily trust these with heavier duty / sharper tasks such as strapping ply to roof rails.
