These straps measure around 25mm in width, with a stated load rating of 800kg and while the stitching and quality seem good, it's crucial to highlight the absence of visible rating labels, indicating compliance with the European Standard. The lack of rating labels means that these straps can not be used commercially for securing loads on vehicles on UK roads. Although the product listing gives a 'maximum' load of 800kg, unfortunately, it doesn't specify whether this pertains to securing load or breaking load. These straps are of the 'endless' variety, which is infinitely more versatile than the two-piece "hooked" variety, for general use. In conclusion, these straps seem well-suited for non-road and non-commercial scenarios.

"The working load limit of these 6m ratchet straps can be up to 800kg." This is a joke. 'Can be', so it's a lucky dip, it might or might not be safe to use. There is clearly no quality control if a strap leaves the factory like this, see the picture - massively frayed, utterly utterly useless. If there is no quality control there is absolutely no load test to see if they are safe. It would be lucky if that strap will take 10kg. I wasn't expecting great things for this price but these are a complete waste of time. I cut one to the length I needed then saw this, so I can't even return them. In the bin they go.

The media could not be loaded. Very strong and easy to use (good and secure hold). I tested it with a box full of products and pushed it to its limits. It managed to bend the box so the racket strap is very durable. All the materials seem to be well made and it would be ideal for a house move or moving a motorbike, fridge or washing machine inside a van/car. Not sure if that would do for commercial use as there are no certifications for the weight it can withstand. Reason for the 4 star review: - It's a bit tricky to release it and the metallic clips are small and it was slightly hard to press them and unlock it. - The gold colour is almost fully faded Overall it's a good ratchet strap set.
